Pricing

How our Shopify pricing works

We don't believe in forcing every Shopify project into the same package.

Instead of generic price lists, we scope each engagement around what your store actually needs. Here's how that works — so you know what to expect before we talk.

Ways to work with us

Three ways to engage

Most work falls into one of three engagement types. We'll recommend the one that fits after understanding your store.

  • The Shopify Revenue Sprint

A focused engagement to diagnose your store, fix the highest-priority problems, and measure what changed.

Scoped and priced upfront once we understand your store.

  • Projects

A defined piece of work — a custom theme, a migration, Shopify Plus development, a custom app, or an SEO or performance project.

Quoted after a discovery call, based on the agreed scope.

  • Ongoing support

A defined amount of development capacity each month, with a shared roadmap and prioritized task list.

A monthly engagement — never sold as unlimited.

What affects cost

What shapes the price of Shopify work

The cost of Shopify development depends on the work involved. The main factors are:

  • The scope and complexity of the work
  • Customizing an existing theme versus building a new one
  • The amount of custom functionality required
  • Integrations with apps and external systems
  • Shopify Plus features such as checkout, Functions, or B2B
  • The volume and complexity of data in a migration
  • Timeline and the level of ongoing support

What to expect

What you get before any work starts

  • A clear scope

What will be built or improved, and how it fits your existing Shopify setup.

  • What isn't included

Larger pieces of work are scoped separately, so nothing is assumed or hidden.

  • An honest recommendation

Including when a smaller engagement — or no engagement — is the better option.

Shopify costs

Your Shopify costs are separate

Our fees cover the work we do. Your Shopify plan, payment processing, theme purchases, and app subscriptions are paid directly to Shopify and app providers.

Our Shopify pricing guide explains those costs in detail.

FAQ

Pricing questions

What does it cost?

It depends on the scope, complexity, and level of development support required.

We don't believe in forcing every Shopify project into the same package.

We'll first understand what you need and recommend the most appropriate engagement.

Why don't you publish fixed prices?

Because two Shopify projects with the same name can involve very different work.

A fixed price list would either overcharge simple projects or under-scope complex ones. Scoping each engagement gives you a price that reflects the actual work.

Is ongoing support unlimited?

No.

Ongoing support is a defined amount of development capacity each month, with clear prioritization. We don't sell unlimited requests, because it isn't an honest promise.

Can we start with something small?

Yes.

The Revenue Sprint is designed as a focused starting point — you don't always need a long discovery project or a large retainer.

Are Shopify's own fees included?

No.

Your Shopify plan, payment processing, themes, and apps are billed by Shopify and app providers. Our Shopify pricing guide explains those costs.
